Originally from Griffin, Georgia, Jada Thrash brings more than 20 years of experience in higher education, enrollment services, student support, and business operations. Her career has included work in college admissions, registrar services, financial aid, human resources, and organizational operations within both the University System of Georgia and Technical College System of Georgia.

Throughout her career, Jada has also supported colleges and universities, including HBCUs, in strengthening enrollment and financial aid operations, improving processes, and enhancing the student experience. Her experience also includes teaching English as a Second Language (ESL), where she worked directly with adult learners at varying proficiency levels. This classroom experience strengthened her ability to meet learners where they are and provide patient, individualized academic support.

Jada has remained committed to professional and leadership development throughout her career. She has been involved with organizations including the Georgia Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (GACRAO) and the Georgia Association for Women in Higher Education (GAWHE). Her leadership development includes UGA's The Collective, Leadership Griffin, and additional community leadership training.

Jada holds a Bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership from Valdosta State University, along with certifications in Human Resources and Supervisory Management.
